Sources for person: Hi, and thanks for getting in touch!

I am not researching the Rasleighs as such. My interest is in Jessie Margaret Mary Monica Moreland (my cousin twice removed) who married Lawrence Lynagh, and their descendants.

I think Marie Elaine Lynagh must be a different woman (maybe a cousin) to the person you know, as a couple of people told me have given me details of Marie Elaine Shearer (nee Lynagh)'s death and one of those people was her son Alisdair Shearer (who would surely know!).

I attach a tree and a report on what I know of this family (from Rashleigh down). I hope it might fill in some gaps to you. I would be very interested to know anything about Jessie Margaret Mary Monica Moreland and her Lynagh descendants.
‎23 Dec 2005, Colin,

I don't really have any more info on Clarinda (ie. DOB etc) but can
give you details of her and Edward's decendants - that's the Lynagh
clan and bigger than Ben Hur! Yes Michael Lynagh's Great-grand-father
was Edward's brother. I've never met him but have been getting his
phone calls for 20 years! and people now have a fighting chance of
being able spell my surname - thanks to him.

Everyone with the name Lynagh (at least in this country) is related by
decent from John Lynagh (B. 1830 Milford, Donegal, Ireland; D. Dalby,
Qld 23/9/1909) and Ellen Murphy (B.1834 Leighlin Bridge, Carlow,
Ireland D. 3/6/1915 Dalby, Qld). About the Rashleighs, I know nothing
other than that Clarinda married a Lynagh and became my grandmother.
You might like to take a trip to Dalby as I found saome Lynaghs and
few Rashleighs buried ther on a trip recently. There are 2 cemetries -
needless to say the old one is the place to go.

Let me know if you're interested in any more info.

Marie

PS. Clarinda is my middle name - I'm the only one to have inherited
it. It's interesting to know that she used Clara instead!

‎28 Feb 2003, Hi,

I was doing a search on my surname and came accross your site - I think
you'll find that Clara was actually Clarinda who married my grandfather
Edward Patrick (b: 4/12/1858) on 26/7/1890.

Hope this helps.
