I, Narelle, am the second daughter of Hazel Olive and James Henry Bennett, married 31/7/1943,Newcastle NSW Hi Colin, † Thank you for replying to the info I sent you.† The main and most obvious question I have is how are you related to my late Grandfather, Fred Gill, and in turn to me.† If you can supply this data to me I most likely have more family details to forward on which you could find helpful. † My mother , Hazel Olive Bennett (nee Gill), died on 19/8/1999, aged 79 years,†at Newcastle.† My father, James Henry Bennett, born†at Singleton NSW, 16/2/1921 died on 27th February( ?) 12010, (†89 years old)†in a nursing home at Brisbane, Qld† My only sister, Marilyn was born on 5/10/1947 and I†was born on 9/10/1953, both in Newcastle, NSW † My Aunt, Margorie Rose Wild (nee Gill) died in Wollongong, some years before my mother.† Her husband Adrian Ronald Wild passed away a few years later, in† a nursing home in†Brisbane/Ipswich area. They had 2 children, Gregory, (who although born in Newcastle, NSW,) lived in Whyalla, SA, and died in 2008/2009.in Adelaide, SA.) †and Glenda Lynette Ooostenbroek (nee Wild), born September, 1952,† Newcastle, NSW†.† There was a baby boy†born between Greg and Glenda but only lived a few days.† I believe his name and records are to be found at the large cemetery at Sandgate , on the northern sie of Newcastle. † My Uncle, Roy Henry Gill, passed away more recently in Wollongong, NSW.† He was married to Margaret Brewster in Wollongong (date unknown). He has 2 sons John (born in 1952)†who still lives in the Illawarra region, and Rodney (born 1955?) †who lives in Townsville, Qld. Margaret Gill†is still alive and living in the Wollongong area. Hazel olive gill born 01/08/1920 Brisbane area not Newcastle. 79 when deceased. Husband James henry Bennett, died Brisbane Qld. 27/2/2010 ‎7 Jun 2012
